"Legends of the Phog" is a painting by Ken Wilson that pays tribute to the history of Kansas basketball. This piece shows ten of the all-time greats in Jayhawks history. The players are set against a backdrop of the historic Allen Fieldhouse, considered by many to be the best venue anywhere to watch a game of basketball. Built in 1955 and named for legendary coach Forrest G. "Phog" Allen, the building's nickname, "The Phog," has become a symbol of its mystique.

Players pictured from left to right: Nick Collison (1999-2003), Jo Jo White (1965-69), Danny Manning (1985-88), Paul Endacott (1919-23), Paul Pierce (1995-98), Wilt Chamberlain (1956-58), Sherron Collins (2006-10), Clyde Lovellette (1949-52), Raef LaFrentz (1994-98), and Dave Robisch (1968-71).

My apologies to all of the other greats who deserve to be in this painting. As a lifelong Kansas fan, having to choose only ten was an extremely difficult and gut-wrenching task.
